Lead Safe Mama, LLC End-Of Year 2021 Debt Summary

Hello all! I sort of wish I had been “brave” enough to share this end-of-year summary each year since this legal battle started (2016) …. better late than never! [So you could see the progress!]
–
I am super thankful for YOUR help with making the very last number on this graphic possible. I will voice two “wishes” below regarding this (outside of “wishing” my civil rights trial – in which I am suing the State of Oregon in Federal Court for violations that attempted to destroy this advocacy work – was over and done with… with an outcome that represents justice in light of all of the violations perpetrated by the bad actors with the State of Oregon):

Wish #1)

I wish that I could find a $100,000 interest free loan for Lead Safe Mama, LLC to consolidate most of the debt to individuals who have helped since this started [or $175,000 to consolidate ALL of the debt to individuals.] This loan would be paid off with the settlement of the lawsuit or out of Lead Safe Mama earned income – whichever comes first. A loan of $175,000 would bring the number of people or businesses owed money to down to 5. [4 lawyers plus the person or entity who lends those funds!]

Wish #2)

I wish that I could raise at least $20,000 to pay my current civil rights attorney – since he is working his butt off to bring this case to jury trial, to help reach an outcome in which justice can be served and to set a precedent in which bad actors – including public servants working in State agencies – cannot ever again falsely – persistently – aggressively pursue activists, non-profits or private citizens for false allegations with no merit or basis in reality.

  1. I was involved in a civil rights lawsuit in Federal Court, as a plaintiff (I sued ten cops for ADA and Section 1983 violations). I was able to get the legal fees funded via a Litigation Finance company. There are now dozens of companies that do this, and they specialize in funding plaintiffs’ lawsuits. And if your case has an expected financial windfall, you can get it funded. It would obviously not be interest-free though (they get paid for their risk). The good trade-off though, is that if you lose the case, you don’t have to pay the loan back.
