Target Threshold Tiny Orange Stoneware Dish: 362 ppm Cadmium + 87 ppm Lead.

I test everything.  STFU.  Call me if you have questions. 😠

When tested with an XRF instrument the (tiny) orange and white Threshold brand dish (from Target) pictured here had the following readings:

Test focused on area of dish with orange glaze:
(this glaze is inside on the food-surface of the dish)

  • Cadmium (Cd): 362 +/- 24 ppm
  • Barium (Ba): 1,567 +/- 24 ppm
  • Selenium (Se): 143 +/- 21 ppm
  • Copper (Cu): 309 +/- 60 ppm
  • Iron (Fe): 3,574 +/- 333 ppm
  • Bismuth (Bi): 84 +/- 21 ppm
  • Vanadium (V): 2,357 +/- 134 ppm
  • Titanium (Ti): 5,134 +/- 274 ppm
  • Zirconium (Zr): 15,300 +/- 500 ppm
  • Platinum (Pt): 157 +/- 58 ppm

Test focused on area of dish with orange and white patterned surface:
(readings on bottom over logo were similar for Lead and Cadmium content)

  • Lead (Pb): 87 +/- 14 ppm
  • Cadmium (Cd): 37 +/- 7 ppm
  • Barium (Ba): 1,070 +/- 57 ppm
  • Zinc (Zn): 96 +/- 20 ppm
  • Copper (Cu): 220 +/- 37 ppm
  • Iron (Fe): 2,899 +/- 210 ppm
  • Bismuth (Bi): 108 +/- 14 ppm
  • Vanadium (V): 2,117 +/- 104 ppm
  • Titanium (Ti): 4,433 +/- 196 ppm
  • Zirconium (Zr): 6,822 +/- 151 ppm
  • Platinum (Pt): 93 +/- 36 ppm

Metals not detected by the XRF in “Consumer Goods” mode are not listed. Tests were done for a minimum of 60 seconds each to confirm the reading. Results are science-based and replicable and conducted with a Niton XL3T XRF in “Consumer Goods” mode.
